we spent a lot of time in Italy at our favorite task (eating). We would walk and then eat and then walk again (looking for a place to eat). It’s a nice pattern, methinks.

a few heads on the streets in sao paolo. incidentally, I don’t think it was october when I took this picture, so I am not sure what the heads were for….
So in addition to teaching blogshop with Bri, we shoot her a lot. To show off the new fall coats for lucky magazine we thought we would do something a bit different from our standard fare (a bit different and potentially ankle twisting). Luckily there were no injuries on set, but Bri was a little sore the next day.
Oh, and that bunny mask from the 50′s that I got at the antique market finally had it’s day in the sun.
When we shot A Fine Frenzy for her new album Pines we shot all sorts of things. We had boats, and lights and trees (in the studio!) Then we decided that we would get up at 4:30 the next morning and go to the beach and shoot for a bit with just a big blanket and some beautiful pre-dawn light, and follow it up with some pancakes on the way home. We were so tired still when we got done that we didn’t even get to the pancakes. But we did get the cover, with the simplest of shoots. Go figure.

We are in Toronto right now shooting a little piece (yes it is beautiful. yes we hope to see some fall leaves) I found this image from a job we shot in Poland earlier this year. It was the end of a long shoot and we were all feeling a bit silly!
we are working on a new gallery show that is going up 10-16-12 at our favorite local place mohawk bend (we live less than a mile from there, and our first photo booth Bertha resides in a corner by their hostess stand!) The show is is all based around our little artist actor model friend Melany.
